We are always trying to think outside of the box with continued designs for you, the end user. The 8'6" is built on our proprietary carbon/glass blend blanks with ALL of the highest end Fuji components. This rod opens the door for a wide range of options on lighter set-ups with the ease of repetitive casting and travel. The extreme light weight of this new rod is great for site casting lures while walking the beaches, set rig fishing on calmer days when lighter weight is needed, wade fishing for your target fish and popping corks for trout or red fish. This is a 50/50 split rod making it easy to travel with and still maintains the feel, sensitivity and power that's come to be expected by the NJT line up.
