Penn Battle IV DX Spinning Reels

Ready to take aim on new challenges and exceed angling expectations, the Penn Battle IV DX Spinning Reels advance the legendary legacy of the Battle name, returning with greater strength and durability than ever before. Anglers across the country fishing have fished the Battle series from the inshore flats to even lighter offshore applications, proving its worth with a variety of different species. With the introduction of both the Battle IV and IV DX reels, Penn has incorporated their Hydro Armor technology, equipping the lineup with strategically placed seals to protect vital internal portions of the reel from the harsh elements. These added seals do not sacrifice the smoothness of its retrieve and are instead added to keep the reel running just as it was out of the box even longer.

The Battle IV DX takes the standard Battle IV and elevates it even further, with a tougher CNC brass main gear that is available in every size, over the Battle IV's aluminum. An additional ball bearing is added to the DX version for added strength and smoothness, along with a EVA handle knob for greater comfort for extended use.
