The Makana 100 is the ultimate throw-and-go kayak, at only 10ft long and weighing in at less than 60lbs (hull weight) it is the perfect boat for those who are tired of lifting and lugging on heavy sit-on fishing kayaks. Giving you portability without sacrificing usability, it has a fishing focused design with features such as the protected transducer mount and flush mount rod holders, while keeping things simple and user-friendly.

The Makana 100 was designed around our Select-a-Pod system, which gives you the option to utilize the included pedal drive configuration, or swap it out for our other pedal driven option with the X-Drive Kit, or our Impulse Drive Kit (depending on your chosen initial configuration). The X-Drive features a fin style drive system letting you pedal in shallower weedier waters, while the Impulse Drive allows you to take advantage of instant reverse with its propellor style design. Both pedal pods and our optional Versa Pod can be swapped with each other without modification making the Makana the best throw-and-go kayak in our lineup.
