We designed the Shearwater 125 around our Select-a-Pod system, which gives you the option to utilize the included Versa storage pod, or upgrade to either our X-Drive Kit, or our Impulse Drive Kit, which instantly give you the ability to take your Paddle kayak and make it foot powered.  The X-Drive features a fin style drive system letting you pedal in shallower weedier waters, while the Impulse Drive allows you to take advantage of instant reverse with its propellor style design. Both pedal pods can be swapped out without modification making the Shearwater the ultimate in choosing your own adventure.
