Silvery with a yellow belly. The king of Gulf table fare. Sells for $30 a plate at the restaurant down the street.
Whiting
Long silver fish, small mouth, sweet like crab. So plentiful Alabama put no limit on them. Keep every one.
Redfish
Bronze color, black spot at the tail. Hardest fighting fish on this beach. Drag will scream.
Flounder
Flat, brown, both eyes on one side. Best fillets you will ever eat. Worth the wait.
